VINEYARD

Located at an elevation of 1,000 feet, our hilltop vineyard is comprised of Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo & Merlot vines – which cover 5 acres of our 140-acre ranch in the San Francisco Bay Appellation.

At this elevation, warm air from the Livermore Valley blends with the cooler influence from the San Francisco Bay creating an ideal micro-climate and allowing our fruit to slowly mature and ripen to perfection.

Typically, our harvest takes place significantly later than growers in warmer valley climates such as Napa, Sonoma, and Livermore. We always hold out until late October, or just before the first rain of the season to get the brix up – and harvest the most succulent fruit. This results in full-bodied and boldly flavorful wines.
